Creamy Marry Me Chicken Pasta

This rich and indulgent pasta dish combines tender chicken, a creamy parmesan sauce, and sundried tomatoes for a meal that’s perfect for a cozy dinner.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  • Make the sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and sundried tomatoes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Combine: Toss the cooked pasta and chicken slices into the sauce. Mix well until coated.
  • Serve: Garnish with extra parmesan and serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap sundried tomatoes for fresh cherry tomatoes if preferred.
  • Use any pasta shape you like for variety.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
